In conjunction with the Northwest School of Animal Massage (NWSAM), RMSAAM is proud to offer the Equine Manual Ligament Therapy course. MLT dramatically reduces hypertonicity in the muscles and restores balance and stability of the joints while improving patterns of movement. Manual Ligament Therapy (MLT) is based on osteopathic techniques developed by Arik Gohl and adapted for horses by Lola Michelin.
Transform your practice by completing our Manual Ligament Therapy for Animals training. Learn the Foundation and Science of Manual Ligament Therapy in a short online preparatory course and then join us for 3 days of hands-on learning and practice.
Online: self-paced instruction in anatomy of the joints and ligaments as well as the theory and history of MLT. The online course must be completed prior to attendance.
In-person: Demonstration and practice of the MLT Releases for different regions of the body. We will cover the most significant releases for both horses and dogs in this course.
The hands-on portion of the training is limited to 8 students for optimal learning.
The course will be taught by Lola Michelin, and runs August 9th-11th at our Sedalia campus. Cost is $750. Online pre-requisite are included in the price.
